Rocky Long: 'One position coaches want to keep consistent is...'

Spring football is a period that a lot of coaches utilize to find the right blend of players on both sides of the ball, but Rocky Long explains that there is one position that coaches want to see consistency in more than any other position.

Last season during spring ball, many of the Aztecs offensive lineman played more than one position as coaches tried to find the right blend to use during the fall, and Long explained after practice yesterday that you can expect to see the same thing this spring.

"I think you can expect to see that in the spring, because the one position that it seems like coaches really want to keep consistent is offensive lineman. They just want to keep those same five together." Long explained.

"So spring practice is your chance to find out who the five best guys are, and when you know who the best five guys are, you try to put them in the right position. Hopefully in the fall, if there's no injuries, you don't have to move anybody."
