Video: Malzahn explains that 'winning is a choice'
Taking over a program and getting guys to buy into the vision of you and your staff is a challenge that every new coach faces when he takes over a program, and it all starts in the off season.
Down at Auburn, Gus Malzahn and his staff are bringing a ton of energy this winter to get the most out of their guys, and Malzahn explained after a workout late last week that winning is a choice, and his staff has a plan for success.
"Winning is a choice. It isn't easy. So when we're pushing you, and your coaches are pushing you and saying 'stand up straight' and 'be a man, don't show any weakness' that is all part of winning...and it isn't easy. We've got a plan and we know how to be successful and how to win. So I encourage you to buy in."
That speech is followed up with some quality highlights from the Auburn national title season as a reminder that the glory days of Auburn football aren't as far away as they may seem.
