Valdosta State: Valdosta State University Strength and Conditioning Department is seeking two eager and motivated applicants for Graduate Assistant positions. The assistantship will begin August 1, 2013. Individuals that are selected will have the opportunity to experience assisting the head strength and conditioning coach with football as well as implementing programs his /her assigned sports. Responsibilities include assisting the head strength and conditioning coach with design and implementation of sport programs. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to: monitoring, cleaning and organizing the facility. Applicants must be motivated to coach, written and verbal communication skills, as well as provide leadership. This is a two year position that requires a bachelor’s degree, in Exercise Science or a related field of study, admission to the graduate program and certification through the CSCCA or NSCA. Compensation includes a monthly stipend and graduate school tuition. Please include an email with a cover letter, resume and three to five references.
