Oklahoma's recruiting video has a personal touch

Oklahoma sophomore defensive end Mike Onuoha reflects back on his recruiting experience and the role that social media played in it in this installment of "Recruiting Reflections" from the Sooners.

Onuoha also talks about what attracted him to the Sooner's program, and coaching staff, and what a semester in a structured weight room and the right nutrition can do for someone fresh out of high school.

With no defined signing day at the Division III level, a video like this would be a great tool for programs to use to grab a recruits attention and get them on campus for a visit. Grab a young player who's contributing that still has the recruiting process fresh in his mind, and get him to share his story.

There are countless ways to reach your recruits, but these types of videos (as well as others that we have featured over the past week) are becoming more and more popular because they're easy to put together, inexpensive, effective, and really hit home with high school aged kids.
