Mora adds a coach to the injured list, issues warning to older coaches

Over the weekend at practice, UCLA receivers coach Eric Yarber was demonstrating how to beat a defensive back off the line of scrimmage and suddenly went down.

Jim Mora's first thought was a heart attack, but after they realized that he hadn't dislocated his hip or his knee, he noticed "something bad" with Yarber's quad. As it turns out, Yarber ended up tearing a tendon in his quad.

Mora joked that Yarber will get no sympathy from him.

"We're going to shoot it up and get his butt back out here on Monday night...no sympathy."

Coach Mora went on to explain further details of how everything went down, and also issued a warning to older coaches to remember that they're not in their prime anymore.

"You know, when you get a guy like Yarb who is always demonstrating and always moving and making the cuts, he's got to remember that he's almost fifty and his body doesn't work like an 18-20 year old anymore. I think he learned that rather dramatically today, so he'll be on the injured list."
