How does Miami protect the quarterback? They explain here

The latest in Miami's excellent Mind Games summer series shows how the Hurricanes protect the quarterback, straight from the mouth of one of the guys responsibile for keeping the quarterback upright.

The 'Canes put offensive lineman Jared Wheeler in front of the camera to explain Miami's pass protection schemes. We give credit to Miami for a creative way to teach their fans about the game, let them get to know one of the players, and to let a player take five minutes to put on his coaching hat.

Miami threw the ball 447 times last season while allowing only 17 sacks, good for third place in the ACC. And with a beard like that, we can see why opposing rushers may want to take their rush path somewhere other than Wheeler's gap.
