Week 1 highlights include South Carolina heading to Nashville on Thursday night to take on Vanderbilt on ESPN, and then Saturday Alabama and Michigan square off in the Cowboy Classic. Also, Kentucky and Louisville will play on Sunday afternoon at 3:30.

Week 2 features plenty more ESPN action with Florida traveling to Texas A&M at 3:30, as well as Washington at LSU at 7 p.m, and Georgia at Missouri kicking things off shortly after at 7:45.

Things get really interesting in Week 3, with Alabama meeting Arkansas, Florida at Tennessee, and then Texas and Ole Miss in Oxford at night.

{module 174} Doug Samuels has been with FootballScoop since 2011. Samuels joined the FootballScoop staff after serving as a college scout as well as an assistant coach at the college level, where he was fortunate enough to have coached every offensive position by age 24. Samuels is lifelong Michigan State fan and has admittedly enjoyed the past few seasons when he has been able to look forward to quality football the entire fall, instead of anxiously awaiting college basketball after the first few weeks of the college football season.
