Irish getting it done on the ground

Notre Dame capped off their 56-14 win against Navy Saturday with an impressive 7 rushing touchdowns.

The 7 rushing touchdowns mark the most rushing touchdowns for the Irish since 1992.

Brian Kelly talked a lot about finding consistency in the offense this week. The Irish quarterbacks were 19 of 25 for 260 yards (1TD / 1Int). On the ground, the Irish rushed 35 times for 182 (5.2 avg.) and 7TDs. The Irish will take on Wake Forest Saturday.

For Navy, it extended their losing streak to 6 games. Since 2003, Navy has won at least 8 games each season.  This year they are 2-6. Navy takes on Troy this Saturday as they try to right the ship [yes, that is a poor pun].
