Our prayers and condolences go out to the family of Northern Arizona wide receivers coach Jeff Lewis. Lewis, 39, passed away earlier today.

Kansas City Chiefs: The team has announced Andy Reid as head coach.

West Virginia: We're hearing reports that Steve Dunlap will not return at West Virginia. Dunlap is a definite possibility to join the staff at Marshall.

Montana State: With Kevin McGiven leaving for Utah State, we hear that head coach Rob Ash will be interviewing candidates for Montana State's vacant offensive coordinator position at the AFCA Convention.

Kent State: Alcorn State running backs/tight ends coach Doc Gamble will join Paul Haynes' offensive staff at Kent State.

Nevada: Texas A&M special teams coordinator Brian Polian has been offered and is expected to accept the head coaching job at Nevada per Bruce Feldman.

UCF: We have learned that former Southern Miss defensive line coach Lorenzo "Zo" Costantini has been hired in the same capacity at UCF.

Western Michigan: Sources tell us Delaware running backs coach Kirk Ciarocca will be the Broncos' new offensive coordinator.

Houston: Multiple outlets are reporting that Houston has hired Oklahoma State inside receivers coach Doug Meacham as its offensive coordinator. Update: We have confirmed.

Lackawanna College: Sources tell us linebackers coach Bill Reiss has been promoted to defensive coordinator.

Illinois: We have confirmed a report from Howard Griffith that Illinois co-offensive coordinator Chris Beatty has been released. We also hear that Billy Gonzalez who also serves as co-offensive coordinator will likely lose that title (but is being retained as receivers coach) as Tim Beckman brings in a new offensive coordinator.

Nevada: Here's an update on the search at Nevada

Carolina Panthers: Ron Rivera has been retained.

UC-Davis: Sources tell us the Michigan offensive grad assistant Bryan Wright will be named running backs coach.

Southeastern Louisiana: Sources tell us head coach Ron Roberts has declined an offer to join the South Alabama (FBS) staff as defensive coordinator and will remain at Southeastern.

Alabama State: Athletic director Stacy Danley has been terminated.

UNC-Pembroke (D-II): Receivers coach Jammie Deese has been promoted to offensive coordinator.

The other is a full time position.  Please send resumes to head coach Jeff Duvendeck at . In your email let us know if you will be at the convention.

At FootballScoop we are very pleased to have Advent join us this year as a sponsor of our event Monday at 5pm at Fuse Sports Bar in the Gaylord. Spend a few minutes on their website and marvel at what they have done for some of their clients (such as USC, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, Auburn, BYU, Kentucky, etc...). Another example of a company filled with great people doing great work for their clients.

Please keep Northwestern Oklahoma State head coach Alan Hall in your prayers. Hall was recently diagnosed with cancer and underwent his first round of chemotherapy yesterday. Your prayers will help him beat this.
