Spurrier: Golly, times have changed when Tennessee...
During his radio call-in show, the Head Ball Coach took the opportunity to get a little jab in on the Vols.
This week, Tennessee announced it would be opting out of a game against North Carolina in 2011. The Vols, instead, will play the University of Buffalo.
"I said, 'Golly, times have changed when Tennessee doesn't want to play North Carolina in football because they're too good for them,' " Spurrier said, emphasizing the word football. "That's kind of amazing right there."
"We're not going to bail out from playing North Carolina the way Tennessee did," Spurrier said.
When given the opportunity, Dooley will almost assuredly point out once again to the media that he is not like Lane Kiffin.
As most of you know, Spurrier made a ritual of jabbing at the Vols through the media during his days at Florida.
