Kiffin clearly explains decision to reinstate fullback Havili
During a post-practice interview on Sunday, Lane Kiffin clearly explained his decision to reinstate senior fullback, Stanley Havili.
Havili, who sat out team activities late in the week, broke the cheekbone of teammate T.J. Bryant during in a late summer conditioning workout session.
According to Kiffin, a number of players felt that Havili should be reinstated. No further discipline to Havili is expected.
Interestingly, both players met together with the media post-practice to explain the situation. The ordeal seems to be put to rest. Here’s that video.
After talking about the Havili situation, Lane talks about how he is very pleased with the progress of the true freshman wide receivers.
