West Texas A&M (D-II): West Texas A&M University, located in Canyon, TX is seeking candidates for a Graduate Assistant position on Offense (Position Open). Preference will be given to candidates with successful coaching and recruiting experience. Responsibilities of, but not limited to: position coaching, recruiting assignments, video breakdown (Hudl), equipment, and office duties. Candidates must have a willingness to adhere to program expectations, a strong work ethic and must meet the admissions qualifications for the graduate program. Fort Hays State (D-II - KS): Fort Hays State is seeking a graduate assistant coach. The stipend for a graduate assistant position is $7000 for a 10 month contract (August through May) The position includes 18 hours per year (9 hours per semester). The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the head coach and offensive/defensive staff with day-to-day operations, practice planning and set-up, film breakdown, equipment, travel, recruiting a territory, coaching a position, and other duties related to the position as assigned by the head coach. Graduate assistant placements are made based on the graduate student’s academic background, qualifications, credentials and career goals. All assistantships include some teaching requirement. Graduate assistants are one year renewable contracts that are subject to semester by semester favorable review. Screening will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Central Methodist (NAIA - MO): Central Methodist University, located in Fayette, MO is seeking candidates for a graduate assistant opening. Preference will be given to candidates with successful coaching and recruiting experience with specific backgrounds in wide receiver or defensive line.  Successful candidate will have responsibilities of, but not limited to: position coaching, recruiting assignments, video breakdown (Hudl), equipment, and office duties. Candidates must have coaching/ playing experience, exposure to Hudl video editing, willingness to adhere to program expectations, a strong work ethic and must meet the admissions qualifications for the graduate program. Grinnell College (D-III - IA): Grinnell College and the Department of Physical Education/Intercollegiate Athletics, have an immediate opening for two part-time assistant football coaches (August 4 through late-November) for the 2014 football season (one offensive and one defensive coach). Responsibilities include assisting the head coach in planning and conducting training sessions, making recruiting calls, breaking down film and preparing scouting reports. Experience playing and/or coaching at the college level is preferred. Castleton State (D-III - VT): Castleton State is looking to hire 2-3 coaching interns. Position will include coaching your own position, having your own recruiting area and other administrative duties as assigned. Position will include a stipend of $3,000-$4,000 (payment schedule is flexible) and a full meal plan for the duration of the first academic semester. Albany (FCS - NY): Former Hampton University defensive coordinator / defensive line coach Delbert Cowsette is the new defensive line coach, and former Frostburg State offensive coordinator Gabe Luvara is the new tight ends coach.
