Monte Kiffin & Ed Orgeron out to fix USC defense

Who would have ever thought that Monte Kiffin’s defense was rank 106th nationally in total defense?

After allowing 588 yards, 31 first-downs, and 36 points to Hawaii, you can bet Monte Kiffin and Ed Orgeron will be working hard to correct some mistakes from last Thursday night.

This Saturday night, the Trojans will host Virginia, under new head coach Mike London.

USC assistant coach Ed Orgeron says, "We did not perform today like we were supposed to perform. But we're gonna get it fixed. There's no doubt about it."

“The penalties were really disappointing.”

"We know how to get it fixed. We're just going to look at the film, go a little harder on them, practice some things that we need to practice. We really messed up on some simple things tonight."
