Hunt together...Kill together

Texas Tech is off this weekend, looking ahead to playing at New Mexico in week 3.  This past weekend they hosted and beat Texas State 50-10.

That game was new defensive coordinator Chad Glasgow's first in that role.  The Red Raiders forced four turnovers in the second half and shutdown the Bobcats ability to throw the ball; but they gave up a bunch of yardage on the ground against a surprising option attack from Texas State.

Glasgow said his guys were caught off guard by the option based attack that Texas State came out with; but they made some adjustments and found ways to make plays.

Glasgow tells his guys to "Hunt together" and the players have added, "Kill together".  We like that attitude.

We noticed a great article today about the changes in Glasgow's life over the last year (see what happens when you win a FootballScoop Coach of the Year award).  Quick summary...

First, he got married and they begin building their dream house...then Glasgow and TCU make a great run, win the Rose Bowl...then he wins the FootballScoop award...has twin sons...hired to be defensive coordinator at Texas Tech...puts "For Sale" sign on the house, the day it was finished...
