Inside Iowa State's locker room after an emotional 3OT thriller

After losing seven straight games at one point during the season (and eight of their first nine), Iowa State responded yesterday with a three overtime victory over West Virginia to end the season on a two game winning streak.

After the game, Paul Rhoads acted much more like a coach celebrating a bowl berth than a guy who just wrapped up a three win season, but as he tells his team in the video, that's because he's prouder of how this team's character and how they responded throughout the year to adversity than any other team he's ever coached in Ames.

Win, lose or draw, this is why Rhoads' players love playing under the passionate head coach.

To be honest, the entire video I was waiting for Rhoads to yell, "I AM SO PROUD TO BE YOUR COACH!", but the message that he did deliver was just as sincere and right on the money for the situation.
