Nations longest active win streak

On Saturday the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater secured its seventh straight Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title by beating Wisconsin - Eau Claire 37-22. Whitewater has won 3 of the last 4 DIII national titles and currently hold the nations longest winning streak of any division at 39 games.

Across all divisions the next closest team is Stanford with a 17 game winning streak, and the closest DIII team is Johns Hopkins with 14 straight wins.

The Warhawks currently hold the top spot in the Division III rankings and are looking to earn a trip to their seventh straight National title game (where they have met fellow national power Mount Union six times, going 3-3).

Great job by head coach Lance Leipold and the staff up at Whitewater.
