Inside the equipment room at Southern Cal

Here's a fascinating quick look inside the equipment room at USC where director of equipment operations Todd Hewitt shows off what they're doing underneath the jersey to maximize a player's potential.

What I found really interesting here is how they strip the shoulder pad all the way down, basically to its most basic functioning level, and then put a material on it so that their Nike jersey's velcro themselves to the shoulder pad itself, making it nearly impossible to grab, and giving it the really tight, clean look that you see on TV.
