Inside the locker room after a last-second win
- by Zach Barnett 10 months ago
With 6:05 to play late Saturday night at Vaught-Hemmingway Stadium, the Texas A&M defense had just allowed its fourth touchdown in the last 16 minutes of action and watched Ole Miss take a 38-31 lead. It was the same site that Texas A&M had staged a late comeback to beat Ole Miss, and now the Rebels appeared on track to return the favor.
But Johnny Manziel led the Texas A&M offense on an eight-play, 75-yard drive capped by his second rushing touchdown of the night to tie the game, and Mark Snyder's defense forced three straight incomplete passes on the ensuing possession. With victory in its sight, Texas A&M marched 56 yards to set Josh Lambo up with a game-winning 33-yard field goal as time expired.
The scene inside the Aggies' locker room was one you'd expect when a team wins a tightly-contested road game in the SEC.
The video is courtesy of the Aggies' new recruiting site, AggieFBLife.com. The site offers short daily video clips, photos, connection to A&M players on social media, daily practice playlists, and stuff like this and this that will resonate with every recruit in the country.
The folks behind the site did a great job. Check it out.
