Video: USC legend Marcus Allen speaks to team

With a game tonight against Arizona, interim USC head coach Ed Orgeron decided to call on a Trojan legend to come in and talk to the team earlier in the week about the importance of a good work ethic and what it means to be a USC Trojan.

All eyes in the room were glued to Marcus Allen, the 16-year NFL veteran, and he delivered a great message.

"If you want to be great, there is a cost involved. It is painful, and it hurts, but it is so rewarding. When you get this opportunity Thursday night guys, you have the chance to make a statement."

"What kind of resume are you guys going to write from this point on? Is it going to be a good one? Is it going to be a great one? Or is it going to be an average one. We set the bar high, and we aren't going to lower it for anybody. It's up to you guys to go above that and set a new standard."

USC kicks of against Arizona tonight in the Coliseum at 10:30 EST (Fox Sports 1).
