A great reminder of the impact coaches can make in their community

Vanderbilt offensive line coach Herb Hand is one of the more active assistant coaches on Twitter. The man understands what it takes on the field, in recruiting, and off the field to shape young men.

Recently, he was given the opportunity to take all of that one step further by being named to the Board of Directors for Our Kids Center, a group committed to providing help, hope, and healing to children and families affected by child sexual abuse.

We wanted to take a moment and congratulate coach Hand on the honor of being chosen to serve on the board; but equally importantly we want to take this time to remind everyone that wherever you are, you can make a difference. As coaches we have a powerful platform, do something everyday to help improve another person's life.
