When the players at Emporia State (D-II - KS) left the locker room Saturday during their pregame routine, the equipment guys had already laid out their customary black on black uniforms.

Everything seemed part of the normal pregame routine.

However, when the players returned to start getting ready for kickoff, they found a brand new "lead" colored uniform had replaced the black ones. The staff had been keeping the new ones hidden for the past several months waiting for the right opportunity to surprise the players.

Here's how the whole thing unfolded. The players were definitely jacked to see the new alternates.
