D-III program gets the 'Nike effect' with new unis

Since 2009, the football program at Wisconsin-Plattevile has been on a steady rise, culminating in an 8-2 season last year, which included a one point loss to UW-Whitewater and a loss to conference champ Wisconsin-Oshkosh. The excitement for this fall is high at UW-Platteville, and the Pioneers will be looking to continue the program's rise in some new Nike uniforms tomorrow afternoon against Buena Vista.

The new unis feature combinations of orange and white helmets, jerseys and pants to go along with new blue jerseys and pants. That adds up to a lot of different combinations. See them all here.

Here's a look at the video the school produced to introduce the new threads. I've always been a fan of the orange and blue color combo, and Platteville did a really nice job with these.
