Video: OL and DL coach square off in a no-hands pie eating contest

To wrap up fall camp, the coaching staff at Northwestern State decided to put together a chicken eating contest between the offensive and defensive line.

Notice that it's a "chicken eating contest" and not a "chicken wing eating contest". We're talking full chickens here.

When it was all said and done the players ended up in a tie, with 4 full birds eaten on each side of the ball. Since no eating contest can ever end in a tie, offensive line coach Ben Norton and defensive line coach Jake Landoll squared off in a no-hands-allowed cherry pie eating contest (skip to the 2 minute mark to see it go down). Video of the full showdown can be seen below.

Side note: Could they have picked a more appropriate music selection to sync with the clip?

The Jay Thomas era at Northwestern State got off to a great start with a win in their season opener last Thursday night with a 23-17 victory over Missouri State.
