Valdosta State tops the preseason Division II Coaches' Poll

Jut like both subdivisions of Division I, Division II will start with the reigning king retaining its crown. 

Defending national champion Valdosta State earned 26 of a possible 32 first-place votes to top the Division II preseason Coaches' Poll. The Blazers were followed by Minnesota State-Mankato, West Texas A&M, Northwest Missouri State and 2012 runner-up Winston-Salem State. 

The 2013 Division II season begins September 5.
