Video: Coaches explain advantages of new uniforms in recruiting

Good montage here from ESPN from their "Car Wash" event of coaches weighing in on the advantages that new uniforms and helmets play in recruiting today's high school prospects.

We especially liked Steve Sarkisian's take.

"I think it has a factor. I'd like to think it's not the end all, be all for a kid...and if it is, I don't know if he's the right one for our program." Sark goes on to explain that uniforms and helmets often serve as the initial attraction, and then they can get the kid on campus and show off their facilities and the personality of the coaching staff and campus community to really reel him in.

Hear plenty more from Lane Kiffin, Mark Richt and a handful more of the coaches from the SEC and Pac-12 in the clip.
