"The more you sweat, the less you bleed"

"The more you sweat, the less you bleed." That's the motto of Ragin Cajuns strength and conditioning coordinator Rusty Whitt.

"We try to break down perceived mental and physical barriers, and as a team conquer those barriers. Coach Hud brought a mentality of mental toughness and you have to match that with a program that challenges them (the players) physically and mentally."

Note how the word "percieved" was used before mentioning mental and physical barriers.

Coach Whitt explains, "We sit down as a staff and formulate things that these guys just wouldn't expect to happen." 

As Whitt explains, much of the program stems from military training for physical and mental toughness, and as the players proclaim in the beginning of the clip, they beleive that there is no other program in the country that works as hard in the summer as they do down at the University of Louisiana - Lafayette.
