Video: Baylor is ready for August 31

Here's an indisputable fact: there's never been a better time to be a Baylor Bear. Of course, there's the men's basketball program with two recent Elite Eight appearances, a national powerhouse in women's basketball and a baseball program that came within one out of reaching Omaha in 2011. But what matters here is football. Especially in the heart of Texas.

The Bears have played in three straight bowl games, winning their last two. They won five of their last six to close the 2012 season, the only setback coming in an eight point loss at Oklahoma, while toppling Kansas State, Oklahoma State and UCLA.

This week, two people voted Baylor to win the Big 12. When was the last time that happened?

And then there's the little matter of Baylor Stadium, opening in 2014. So, yes, these Bears are ready for August 31 to hurry up and arrive.
