New uniforms on the way for Abilene Christian

After winning two national championships at the NAIA level and two conference champions behind a record-breaking offense in Division II, Abilene Christian is moving to Division I. Located in the Big Country region of west Texas, the Wildcats will compete in the Southland Conference, returning to the conference they once helped found.

Abilene Christian has signed a three-year apparel contract with Adidas to accompany the move, and a new apparel contract usually equals new uniforms. The Wildcats' old kits were nothing special - an interlocking "ACU" on the helmet that may have gone one letter too far

Abilene Christian's new uniforms remind us a little of another group of Wildcats' alternate uniforms, but they're a definite improvement nonetheless. What do you think?
