Legendary Western North Carolina coach Charles "Babe" Howell passed away over the weekend. Howell coached at several Georgia and North Carolina schools, winning three state titles (NC) including 36 games in a row at one point. Please keep your thoughts and prayers with the family.

Harrison (IN): Reitz HS (IN) offensive coordinator Cory Brunson has accepted the head coaching job.

Reitz (IN): Franklin College (D-III - IN) offensive coordinator Andy Hape was announced as the new head coach at Reitz HS last night at a board meeting.

West Brunswick (NC): Scott Frazier has been named head coach at West Brunswck HS.

Archbishop Riordan (CA): Former Sacred Heart Cathedral (CA) head coach John Lee has accepted the head coaching job.

Shiloh Christian (AR): Linebackers coach Adam Caine has been promoted to assistant head coach and offensive line coach Haden Gilder has added the title of DFO.

Jenkintown (PA): The head coaching job is open and the school is accepting applicants.

Mar Vista (Imperial City, CA): After leading Mar Vista to three consecutive Metro South Bay League titles and a trio of San Diego section playoff appearances, Brian Hay has accepted the head coaching job at Sweetwater High School in National City, Calif. Tyler Arciaga has been hired away from San Ysidro as Hay's replacement. 

Brimley (MI): The head coaching job is open.

Bradwell Institute (GA): Adam Carter, former defensive coordinator at Camden County HS (GA), has accepted the head coaching job. Carter has brought on former Camden County HS assistant Christopher Reese to serve as offensive coordinator.

Windsor Forest (GA): Scott Schwarzer has been named head coach.

Bristow (OK): Former Valliant HS (OK) head coach Brett Jones has accepted the head coaching job.

Delaware County Christian (PA): Delaware Count Christian School is a K-12 school in Newtown Square, PA(just outside Philadelphia). DC is seeking a Head Football coach that loves the Lord, loves kids, and loves football to lead all aspect of the football program. DC’s football program is a PIAA District 1-A program. Eligible candidates must have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and fully alignment with the school’s mission, vision, and statement of faith. Full time employment is available. Cheatham County Central (TN): Jack Jakobik has been hired as the new head football coach. He previously served as the defensive backs coach and special teams coordinator at Ravenwood. 

Lincoln Northeast (NE): Lincoln High defensive coordinator Lawrence "Bump" Christensen has been named head coach at Lincoln Northeast. 

Leander (TX): New head coach Lee Bridges has named Greg Pels as defensive coordinator and Tim Smith as offensive coordinator. 

Mustang (OK): Head coach Ty Prestidge is leaving to become the offensive coordinator at Choctaw. 

South Pittsburg (TN): Tim Moore is returning to his alma mater as head coach. 

Palmetto (SC): Jody LeCroy has stepped down as Palmetto's athletic director and head football coach. He will join the Crescent High School staff as an assistant. 

Northern Durham (NC): Assistant coach R.J. Wilson has been chosen to replace Gary Merrill as head coach. 

Beaufort Academy (SC): Brock Vaigneur is the new head coach. 

Righetti (Santa Maria, CA): Ed Hermann has been chosen as the school's new head coach after 20 years as an assistant.

Ridgedale (OH): Former Mantua Crestwood HS (OH) coach Tom Hannan has accepted the head coaching job.

St. Louis Park (MN): Former Washburn HS (MN) defensive coordinator Ben Wolfe has been hired as the program's new head coach.

Carson (NC): Former Salisbury HS (NC) head coach Joe Pinyan has been named head coach.

Salisbury (NC): Ryan Crowder has accepted the head coaching job. Crowder has been an assistant at Salisbury for the past 13 seasons, spending the past eight as defensive coordinator.

Plano East (TX): Along with steppping down from his head coaching duties, Johnny Ringo has also resigned from his duties as athletic director.

Weatherford (OK): Edmond HS (OK) assistant coach Dan Kurtenbach has been named head coach at Weatherford HS.

Santiago (CA): Santiago High School in Corona, CA is looking for the following coaching positions Defensive Coordinator, DBs & Inside LB's. Santiago plays in the Big 8 (Inland Division) and has great facilities, administrative, community and parent support. A brand new weight room is scheduled to be finished in August. There are currently no teaching positions available however a possibility of one coming open may occur towards the start of the 2013 school year. Junction City (OR): Mark Henderson has decided to retire. Henderson won two state titles in 25 years at Junction City HS.

Talawanda (IN): Athletic director Jason Grunkemeyer has stepped down and will join the Ball State basketball staff.

Hamilton (OH): Head coach Bob Jacoby has decided to step down.

South Lakes (VA): South Lakes High School (Reston, VA), a division 6 football program located 20 minutes west of Washington D.C, is looking for an Offensive Line coach, Safeties coach, and special teams coordinator. Grand Rapids West Catholic (MI): Bart Estola, who coached the defensive backs at Ferris State (D-II - MI) last season, has joined the West Catholic staff as defensive backs coach.

Collinsville (AL): Ernie Willingham is returning to Collinsville for his second stint as head coach. He previously served as the school's head coach from 1998-2002.

Kenosha Bradford (WI): Kenosha Bradford High School, home of six straight WIAA D-1 quarterfinal appearances, with two semifinals and a WIAA D-1 state championship in 2011 is seeking a varsity defensive backs coach. Nevada Union (CA): Dave Humphers is stepping down after a career that brought him 195 wins, 17 playoff appearances, 10 league championships, six Sacramento City titles and four Sac-Joaquin Section Division I crowns. 

East Marion (MS): Moss Point head coach Kevin Jackson has been hired as the head football coach and athletic director at East Marion. 

Seneca Valley (PA): Seneca Valley High School (WPIAL AAAA) in Harmony, Pa., is seeking an offensive line coach or quarterbacks coach. High School or collegiate coaching experience is preferred. Morral Ridgedale (OH): Tom Hannan was named the head coach at Morral Ridgedale on Thursday. Hannan has 31 years experience as a coach, 23 as a head coach at three different Northeast Ohio high schools, with an overall record of 120-108. He will also teach physical education at the school. Hannan served as the assistant head coach/offensive coordinator at Burton Berkshire High School last season.

Spring Valley (SC): Spring Valley HS (AAAA) in Columbia, S.C., has an opening for a varsity football assistant (defensive side of the ball). The current openings are two Special Education positions ED and LD. There is also an opening for a higher level math classes working with Magnet students. Bellarmine-Jefferson (CA): Former Occidental College tight ends coach and long time high school coach has accepted the Bellarmine-Jefferson High School (Burbank, Calif.) athletic director and head football coaching position. Amherst County (VA): Located in Amherst, VA, just 20 minutes north of Lynchburg, is looking for either a Defensive Line or Linebacker coach for the 2013 football season.
