Arizona State: Assistant AD for football operations and high school relations, John Wrenn is retiring. Todd Graham made the announcement today. 

Houston: Houston is looking for a new video coordinator intern for the football team. The position pays a stipend of $1,000 a month and you will be acting as an assistant, and doing some light track and field work in the spring as well. During season you will be helping with everyday functions and all coaches video for practices, and games both home, and away so you must be able to travel with the team. Western Michigan: Sources tell us that former Nebraska director of player personnel Wince Morris is the leading candidate for the director of football operations position at WMU. We hear the deal could be finalized in the next day or so.

Wisconsin: Former Texas recruiting assistant Stefan Schmidt will join the Wisconsin staff as assistant DFO per sources. Schmidt was at Alabama prior to Texas.

South Dakota: The University of South Dakota in Vermillion, S.D., is seeking an individual to serve in a graduate assistantship position as Assistant Equipment Room Manager for Football Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Head Equipment Manager, the position will be responsible for assisting with duties associated with the operations of the football program. Duties include determining football equipment needs and assisting the Head Equipment Manager with ordering equipment and supplies, inventory control, maintenance, washing, mending and caring for apparel, maintaining athletic equipment in good order for safety and effective performance, distributing uniforms and equipment, preparing and attending daily practices, locker room oversight, preparing equipment for team travel and traveling with team to away competitions. The position will also assist with other sports as needed and as the football season allows. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, experience with the sport of football and equipment room duties and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations required. Compensation includes a monthly stipend and reduced tuition. The successful candidate must be fully admitted into the University of South Dakota graduate school.
