Washburn (D-II - KS): Washburn University Sports Performance is accepting applications for an Intern/Graduate Assistant in Strength and Conditioning for the Fall of 2012. Responsibilities include: assisting with the supervision and design of individual and/or team training; assisting with daily administrative and maintenance tasks; completion of various educational assignments. Preferred qualifications include: Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s programin exercise science or related field; CSCS, SCCC, or USAW certification; CPR certification. Previous coaching experience. Compensation: This is a paid position. Interns will receive experience working in a Collegiate training environment, have the opportunity to earn recommendations for future career opportunities, and fulfill graduation requirements at their educational institutions as applicable. North Texas: The University of North Texas is looking for qualified candidates to fill Fall Internships for 2012. This is an unpaid internship position. This internship provides qualified candidates with the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in a Division 1 Strength and Conditioning program with the opportunity to work with multiple sports, as well as earn college credit if necessary.
