Georgia State: Athletic director Cheryl Levick has announced that she will transition to a new role as a special assistant to university president Mark Becker starting July 1. Read more on the move in the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Kansas State: Athletic director John Currie will serve as the chair of the Big 12 athletic directors this year.

Purdue: Due to the death of associate AD Tom Reiter back in January, Purdue AD Morgan Burke has announced some changes in duties within the office of sports administration. Senior associate AD Ed Howat will oversee baseball, soccer, as well as men's and women's swimming and diving. Senior associate AD Nancy Cross will oversee women's basketball, men's and women's golf and men's and women's tennis. Associate AD Calvin Williams will take care of men's and women's cross country, softball, men's and women's track and field, volleyball and wrestling. Burke will administer men's basketball and football. All changes are effective July 1.

VCU: Athletic director Ed McLaughlin has been elevated to associated vice president and the board of visitors at VCU has approved a three-year contract extension through 2019 which includes a raise from $210,000 to $271,000.

Tulane: Barbara Burke has been named chief operating officer of the Green Wave's executive administration. Burke has spent the last six years as the athletic director at Eastern Illinois, and was the deputy AD at Wyoming prior to that.

Boston College: Massachusetts deputy athletics director/senior woman administrator Jaime Seguin has accepted the same job at Boston College according to Daniel Malone of MassLive.com. 

Chicago State: Athletics director Dan Schumacher has stepped down to take the same post at Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

American Athletic Conference: The conference has announced the hiring of Dan Leibovitz as associate commissioner for men's basketball. He most recently served as an assistant coach for player development for the Charlotte Bobcats. 

Air Force: Athletic director Hans Mueh has stated that the 2014-2015 academic year will be his last as athletic director.

Virginia Tech: Desiree Reed-Francois has been hired as the executive associate athletic director. Reed-Francois has been Cincinnati's senior associate athletic director since March of last year. She takes over for Tim East, who did not receive a contract renewal.

Cleveland State: Athletics director John Parry has signed a three-year contract extension through 2017 according to the Cleveland Plain-Dealer. 

Ball State: The Cardinals have announced a number of additions and staff changes: Pat Quinn is now the deputy director of athletics for internal affairs, Karin Lee is now the senior associate athletics director/senior woman administrator, and Brian Hardin's title has been changed to deputy director of athletics for external affairs. Additionally, Roger Jones has been hired as manager of ticket sales and fan development, and Shawn Sullivan has been named the director of marketing and promotions. 

Ohio: Michael Stephens has been named senior associate athletics director for external operations. Stephens has spent the past 12 years in the Nebraska athletic department where he most recently served as assistant athletic director for marketing and licensing.

Manhattan College: Boe Pearman, most recently the interim director of athletics at Southern Connecticut State, has been named senior associate director of athletics at Manhattan College.
