NCAA: Oklahoma athletics director Joe Castiglione has been named the chairman of the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Selection Committee for 2015-16.

Arizona State: The Sun Devils have increased payroll for their senior athletics staff by more than $800,000 since the arrival of athletics director Ray Anderson, according to the Arizona Republic. Anderson will make $600,000 a year (up from the $450,000 Steve Patterson earned). Associate vice president/chief business development officer Greg McElroy will earn $350,000, while senior associate ADs David Cohen and Scottie Graham will make $175,000 and $135,000, respectively.

LIU Brooklyn: John Suarez will step down after 17 years on the job. The school expects to appoint an interim AD by the end of the month, according to College AD.

Simpson University (NAIA - CA): Athletics director Joe Griffin has stepped down to take a similar job at a school in Indiana, he announced this week. He had been at the school since 2007.

Cal State-Bakersfield: Kenneth "Ziggy" Siegfried has been appointed interim athletics director. AD Jeff Konya accepted a similar post at Oakland (MI) recently.

Clemson: Longtime SWA Barbara Kennedy-Dixon is transitioning to a new post of special assistant to athletics director Dan Radakovich, the school has announced.

Boston U: The school has announced the hiring of Aaron Aaker as associate director of athletics for compliance and strategic planning.

Delaware: Christine Motta has been named associate athletics director for student-athlete development and senior woman administrator. A former Blue Hen athlete and assistant coach, Motta has spent the past three years as assistant director of career services within the UD athletics department.

Western Illinois: AD Tommy Bell has announced a number of staff promotions and department changes. Matt Tanney has been promoted to deputy director of athletics, overseeing business operations and HR / personnel matters,  Lisa Melz-Jennings has been elevated to associate AD, Julie Gibbes (director of compliance the past year) has added the title of assistant AD, and Kelsey Laverdiere has been prmoted to assistant AD in charge of corporate relations, promotions, and special events.

Eastern Illinois: Per the Journal Gazette & Times-Courier, former Illinois basketball player, and current Illinois senior associate AD Tom Michael will be the new AD at EIU.
